Client Instructions
File requirements:
Send your mix as a WAV or AIFF file, 24-bit minimum — no MP3s
Do not put a limiter on your master bus before bouncing. Leave at least -3dB to -6dB of headroom on the mix — the louder you make it before sending, the less we have to work with
If your mix has a master bus chain (EQ, glue compression etc.) that you want kept, leave it on — just remove any limiting or clipping
Sample rate: match your session's native rate, do not upsample
Preferred mastering targets — let us know which applies:
Streaming (Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal): we'll target -14 LUFS integrated
Club / DJ use: we'll target -6 to -8 LUFS with headroom for loud systems
What to send along with your files:
1–3 reference tracks that represent your target loudness and tone
Notes on any frequency areas you're sensitive about (e.g. "the low end is intentionally heavy, don't tame it")
Let us know if this is going to a distributor, a label, or for personal release
Outside mix submissions: We accept mixes from outside engineers. Files must meet the technical requirements above. If the mix is clipping, over-compressed, or has headroom issues we'll flag it before proceeding — we won't master a mix that isn't ready, as it won't produce a professional result.
